Smart Parking is an innovative solution that utilizes modern technology such as sensors to manage parking areas more efficiently and automatically. A Smart Parking miniature can be created using micro:bit, servo motor, extension board, jumper wires, and an ER sensor (infrared reflective sensor) to simulate an automated parking system. The ER sensor detects a miniature vehicle as it passes through the parking gate, then the micro:bit controls the servo motor to automatically open and close the parking barrier. Parking status can be displayed on the micro:bit’s LED screen or through external indicators such as LED lights.
